(Professor Minkoff, please click here for homework assignments.)

Hello. As you can see above, my name is Paul. I have decided to return to school to get a BS degree in Computer Information Systems. This is my first course in CIS and also my very first webpage. This will be my palette to practice writing HTML and JavaScript code. You will see various links to required coursework as well as photos and links that will reflect my interests.

I am a motorcycle and sportscar enthusiast of the highest order. I am also a huge fan of Formula 1 as well as CART open wheel racing, and I will eventually be posting photos and links regarding these topics.

1996 BMW R1100RSL: My Ultimate Riding Machine

I have had this bike now for over three years and it is my absolute pride and joy. The engine is a 90hp flat twin. It is the same basic engine design that BMW has been using since 1923 with the introduction of the R32. This engine design has evolved slowly since 1923, the biggest change occurring in 1993 with the addition of oil cooling.
The R1100RS is a fantastic sport-touring machine, with plenty of torque available with a twist of the throttle. BMW designed this machine to have the handling prowess of a competent sporting motorcycle as well as the ergonomics and carrying capacity of a machine designed for long distance travel. I think it's the best of both worlds.
As with most fun activities, I never ride as much as I'd like to.
This will change.

1986 Porsche 944 turbo: The Silver Bullet

I owned this car for almost five years and LOVED it! I have always liked sportscars, especially the ones made in Germany. It is well known that the epitome of Porsche is the long-lived 911, but I always liked the design of the 944 series as well. My car was the first model year of the 944 turbo, a car that at the time had the power and handling to overshadow it's older sibling. The thing I liked best about the 944 turbo was it's dual personality. Off boost, the car was exceptionally tractable around town, but on boost it was a powerhouse, gaining speed in an alarming manner. I expended my fair share of adrenalin while I owned this car!
